    Syed Zafar Hamdani
    XStor Medical Systems founder and CEO, is a seasoned veteran with twenty-five years of experience in systems software, storage and healthcare solutions. In his previous position as the CEO of Novasonics (Zonare), he led the company from the conception of their revolutionary ultrasound platform to the launch of their first product. Prior to that he was a senior executive at IBM responsible for the development, launch and P&L of IBM's storage system platforms. Syed managed a global development and launch team of five hundred people between IBM divisions in San Jose, California; Rochester, Minnesota; and Fujisawa, Japan. His projects brought over three billion dollars of revenue to the company. Syed started his career as a system design engineer at Measurex and holds a M.S. in Electrical Engineering.

    Kumar Gopal
    XStor founder and CTO, has over ten years of experience in system architecture, design, implementation and testing. He has led the development of commercial applications for storage virtualization, industrial strength web application servers, database applications, and healthcare imaging software. He is expert at channeling customer and business needs into production code using the latest tools and technologies, including open source software. Kumar has a M.S. from the University of Maryland, College Park.

    Jim Weldy
    VP of Engineering and the head of our Chicago development office has over twelve years of experience in medical imaging, software development, and product management. He was the chief architect and CTO of an orthopedics imaging company for six years where he led the development and launch of their software platform. He also worked at the University of Chicago as a software developer in radiology imaging. Jim has a B.S degree from University of Illinois, Urbana- Champaign and a MS from University of Virginia in Physics.

    Ronald Tschalär
    XStor's software development leader. He has thirteen years of extensive product development experience in data bases, web applications, and in network and application security. Ron's extensive software expertise includes Java, C, and LINUX. His work experience includes 2wire, Cerrito, Philips Switzerland, Innovation, and DEC. Ron received his MS from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule in Zürich, Switzerland.

    Zafar Malik
    VP of project management has over twenty five years of experience developing and delivering hardware and software projects. Zafar worked for Texas Instruments for fifteen years in engineering and management positions, leading design and project management of TI's application specific products. He also held senior engineering and management positions at major multi-national companies. Zafar has a MSEE from University of Missouri and a MBA from St. Edward's University, Austin Texas.

    Dr. Hasan Kamil
    Chairman of the Board and XStor lead investor, has thirty years of experience in the software industry during which he has founded several software companies. In 1995, Dr. Kamil established Hitek Venture Partners where his current portfolio includes twenty-five companies in the software, biotechnology, medical devices, telecom and semiconductor fields. He is also a General Partner of the Granite Hill India Opportunities Fund. He has taught engineering at IIT, Delhi and Stanford University. With over seventy-five publications and numerous awards, he is on the Board of Trustees of both UC Santa Cruz and the American-India Foundation and is a charter member of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs). Dr. Kamil holds a MS degree from MIT and a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley.
